My Review of EERIE on Amazon

Check out this AWESOME book by C.M. McCoy

My Review of EERIE by C.M. McCoy
I absolute LOVED the book and couldn't put it down, It starts out rather sweet with Holly and Hailey helping and step dancing at their Uncle Pix's Irish pub. Hailey has typical school issues related to a family tragedy with secrets;) Then Hailey's big sister Holly disappears & is found "shredded" , The book takes a decidedly darker turn with Hailey deciding to go to Bear Towne University to major in ParaScience. The book is like a young adult Harry Potter but better (IMHO). The secondary characters are AWESOME. A poltergeist that does hair and a Banshee with issues . The characters are complex & you never know who to root for . I couldn't decide who to root for Asher, an Envoy with heart or Fin who just can't make his mind up. I can't wait for book 2 which promises more surprises.

Tryka knows better than to speak her longing aloud. For immortals, words carrying emotion have power. The Rules said so. She should have kept her mouth shut, but a gorgeous pair of shoes in a Madison Avenue display window are her downfall.…

Since this is my first blog post here's a little about me. I was born November 1, went to Boyertown schools, did some college time at Penn State, got hired by the State of PA to work at Pennhurst Center, then Embreeville Center and FINALLY Hamburg center. I sing, read , metal detect, travel and do house fun aka cleaning/fixing my 100 year old 1/2 a double. I like to think I've had a pretty good life with two wonderfull parents and an unusual brother Rick. I tend to be a bit openminded about almost everything except abuse of any kind (just plain wrong) and narrow mindedness. I kind of consider myself invisable, I could be anyone you see in the local store or walking on the sidewalk. More on an invisable persons observations later.
